Minimal data collection. Animea is designed to work primarily offline and locally. We collect very limited information:

• License activation: When you activate your license, we process your license key and basic device information (operating system, app version) to verify your purchase.
• Crash reports (optional): If you opt in, anonymized crash reports may be sent to help us improve the Software. These contain no personal data or project content.
• Purchase information: When you purchase Animea, your payment is processed by our third-party payment provider. We receive your email address and transaction details but do not store credit card numbers or payment credentials.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect, access, or store your projects, artwork, drawings, sketches, or any content you create in Animea
• We do not collect or store your third-party API keys — these are stored locally on your device only
• We do not track your usage patterns, browsing behavior, or feature usage within the app
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes

4. Third-Party AI Services

When you use third-party AI services through Animea (such as fal.ai, Google AI Studio, xAI Grok, VIDU, or Hunyuan3D), your prompts, images, and other inputs are sent directly from your device to the respective third-party provider. Animea acts as a client application — we do not proxy, intercept, or store this data.

Your use of third-party AI services is governed by their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party AI services you connect to Animea.

5. Data Storage & Security

All project data, files, settings, and API keys are stored locally on your device. We do not operate cloud storage, sync services, or remote backups. You are responsible for the security of your device and the backup of your local data.

6. Cookies & Website Analytics

Our website (animea.pages.dev) may use basic analytics to understand traffic patterns. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. The desktop application does not use cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

Animea is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction or deletion of your personal information; object to or restrict processing of your data; and data portability. Since we collect minimal data and your projects are stored locally, most of your data is already under your direct control.
